Imagine Learning Hub

Dear all, Imagine if every Christian in Greater Bristol discovered the part they have to play in God's plan, and began to play it... You may have heard the ideas of Whole Life discipleship, frontlines and One Degree shifts, and used some of the excellent resources, but may not sure how they could really make a difference in your church community. There is still time to sign up for the Imagine Learning Hub with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), along with other churches in Bristol. We will be learning together under the guidance of a team from LICC, how our life together when we are gathered church (our preaching, leading, small groups, structures etc.) can be steered more and more towards equipping everyone to live and witness for Christ the rest of the week. The programme for the Hub consists of 3 days to which you can invite the relevant members of your teams:

Day 1 – Sustaining Frontline Ministry - Thursday 26 May 2016

Explore how the gathered practices of preaching and worship-leading combined with a frontline lens, can prepare the people of God to live fruitful lives when scattered on their frontlines.
Part 1: 10am - 4pm – Preaching for the Frontlines – for church preachers Part 2: 7 - 9.30pm – Leading Sunday Worship with Monday’s Frontlines in Mind – for worship leaders

Day 2 – Enabling Frontline Ministry - Wednesday 6 July 2016

Create a framework for mission with a frontline focus, so that the people of God are enabled to build strategies for mission and discipleship on their frontlines. This day will include a session for small group leaders.
Part 1: 1 - 5pm – Creating a framework for mission with a Frontline Focus – for senior leaders & wider leadership Part 2: 7 - 9.30pm – Creating Small Groups with a Frontline Focus – for Small Group Leaders

Day 3 – Owning a Frontline Ministry - Saturday 15 October 2016 10am - 3pm

Explore the world of work (paid and unpaid) through the lens of vocation, and develop a robust theology of work that will help the people of God see their work as endowed with purpose and meaning. This day is open for everyone from your church.
