Prayer pointers:

Preparing hearts of people across our city, asking tor revelation from the Lord to lead us into repentance, humility and holiness. See attached Weslyan Covenant Prayer Card and a Prayer of Blessing for the Bristol Region (agreed as an interim prayer by a gathering of church leaders)

Do listen to the free series of 5 talks by Simon Ponsonby at Christchurch Clifton 20-22 April 2012 on Holiness as the key to Revival...this is anointed, powerful, and perfectly timed. http://www.christchurchclifton.org.uk/content/recentsermons

For revelation and protection for the Church Leaders and Leaders from the various spheres of influence in the City - that God will anoint them with His burden of prayer on the day and that the Godly declarations they make will have a lasting spiritual impact throughout this city and region.

For social media networks to be fully used, but for a pure message with a true reflection of what the day is about: “Coming together to One God, as One Church, for One Purpose, to see the Kingdom of God come in Bristol by the process of personal repentance followed by repentance for our society and re-dedication to God of our lives, churches and spheres of society in our city.” Pray for the word to reach as many people as possible. Please pray, and, if you are able, please also act, to tell others, encourage church leaders, mobilise churches, or deliver fliers.

Finances Please pray that the cost of hiring the stadium will be met. Individuals, businesses or churches can partner by giving towards this stategic day: "AriseUK" HSBC - Sort Code: 40-14-18 - Acc No 01806351

Stewards There is a need for stewards and intercessors on the day. If you, and/or someone you know, can help please contact Jackie Davis (jdbarbados@yahoo.co.uk mobile 07817 159 120) who is co-ordinating this.

Children Plans for help with children on the day are taking shape. Please pray that we would connect with the people God is preparing to help with this. Contact AriseUK@btinternet.com

This is just to let you know if you are wanting to come to Arise Bristol and are not sure what to do with children, that there will be a children’s area. It is not a crèche – a parent will need to stay, but there will be Christian puppeteers, song writing/singing and prayer, teaching children to hear from God and pray from their hearts to His heart.

The desire of those running the children’s area is that children should not simply be entertained, but should be equipped to grow in their own relationship with God.

If you know of others with children who would like to know about this, please pass on this information.

Daniel 9 v1-19 – a guiding scripture when praying for our city and region.
