Living Lightly
is a project of A Rocha UK, a Christian environmental and conservation charity.

A Rocha, which means 'the rock' in Portugese, was started in 1983 to run a field study centre on the Algarve peninsula in Portugal. It now operates in eighteen countries across the world, from Canada to New Zealand, Finland to Peru. A Rocha UK stands within the global A Rocha family as an independent, registered charity. It exists to inspire churches and individuals to get involved in caring for God's creation through a whole variety of ways and runs a number of practical conservation projects.

Living Lightly is an initiative that came out of the growing desire to be the change that we want to see in the world and a recognition that a biblical understanding for creation care has to be lived out in our everyday lives.
