Hope Bristol 2018 Launch Sunday

We know from our lunch on Friday that there is a real excitement about what God is doing in our city. However, that excitement doesn’t mean a lot if we can’t now put it into action. So, in the timeless words of fictional president Jed Bartlet, ‘What’s next?’ Here are a few steps you can take: 
 

Launch Sunday // 5th November

This is your chance to get your wider church family on board with Hope Bristol 2018. With holidays being booked and Easter creeping closer, we’d hate for people to miss out. So, why not make Sunday 5th November (or any other Sunday in November) your Hope Bristol Launch Sunday.
 
We’ll send you a 90 second video, info to put in your church bulletin, a PowerPoint slide and any other information you might need. We’ll also send you some A6 flyers and lots of registration forms for volunteers. Then it’s up to you; you could put it in your notices, you could share about ‘hope’ more widely, or you could even dedicate a whole service to it – the choice is yours.

At our lunch, a very good question was asked: ‘what if no one turns up?’ My immediate response was that Soul Survivor will take care of this, but in hindsight, I’d like a chance to answer that again…
 
Many of us have networks across the city and country that mean we can also take responsibility for getting people along. So, do you have links with churches around the country that you could invite? We have an email template to send around to your networks here. This is our city and we want to take responsibility for getting as many young people here as possible.
