Volunteers Need Not Wait to until they have registered and Need Not Wait to have been accepted for volunteering, in order to receive training.
Volunteers should however register as soon as they can on www.bcwns.org as this will also enable volunteers to select which of the two advertised training dates at Ivy Church you plan to attend if they are not in contact with a Venue Coordinator or aren't able to attend one of the venue based sessions.
IF a volunteer is already in contact with one of the Venue Coordinators for this year then training will be arranged at the venue first and foremost.
IF someone can't attend their venue's training session then arrangements can be made with their Venue Coordinator to attend another venue's training session.
IF a volunteer can't attend any of the venue based training sessions or they aren't already in contact with a Venue Coordinator, they MUST attend the training sessions at Ivy Church in St Werburghs BS6 5HZ.

Summary of the Shelter Programme
This year Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter 2018 will be:
Starting on the 5th January with 7 church venues each taking a night a week for the first 6-week phase,
And then it will
Continue from the 16th February with 2 remaining church venues being joined by 5 new church venues for the second 6-week phase.
In total 12 church venues will be involved and the BCWNS 2018 project will run for 12 weeks.
Several other churches are also partnering up with those churches providing the venues by offering teams of volunteers. We hope that next year other churches might also be able to offer venues so that we can increase capacity.
If volunteers have any questions - in the first instance volunteers are encouraged to either go on line to register via
www.bcwns.org, talk to a Venue Coordinator (if they are already in contact with one) or if non of the above can answer a question then email Steve Maslin on:
