Bristol 2–17 March 2019
Churches unite to end global poverty
A special fortnight of events and entertainment in Bristol organised by churches together with Tearfund. Across the city there will be quiz nights, comedy events, live music and so much more. Have a look to see what’s on near you and and book your tickets now!
Between 2nd and 17th March we’ll be in Bristol! Come and join us for a half-century-topping celebration.
Over two exciting weeks, churches, businesses and individuals across Bristol will unite to run events to help celebrate 50 years of Tearfund. That’s 50 years of working together to end extreme poverty. It’s 50 years of lives transformed as people have discovered their potential, and it’s 50 years of partnering with the local church to empower communities to find their own solutions to their problems.
We’ve got comedy evenings and amazing performances of West End hits, as well as quiz nights, talks and more. And do join us for a special service at Christ Church Clifton on Saturday 16 March at 7.30pm , when we’ll celebrate the achievements of the past 50 years, and together recommit to following Jesus where the need is greatest.
Head to the website to find out what’s going on near you. Then invite friends and family along, and prepare for a jubilee-worthy celebration during two weeks of fun, faith and prayer!
