Tue 22 Oct - Bristol Fair Trade Social: Fair Trade and the Climate Emergency

When: Tuesday 22nd October 2019, 18:15 – 19:45
Where: Better Food Café, Wapping Wharf, Gaol Ferry Steps, BS1 6WE
Price: Free to all

What role does Fair Trade have to play in addressing the Climate Emergency?

Join the next Bristol Fair Trade social as we break down the daunting idea of being in a climate emergency and consider Fair Trade as a route to action. We’ll take a look at how climate change affects the lives of small scale producers every day, what Fair Trade certification schemes do to help, and how we can reframe the way we talk about Fair Trade in light of the recent global action on climate change.

We’re at a lovely new central venue, but as usual there’ll be food and drink to buy, and time to chat and meet people. Everyone welcome.

Just turn up, or register your interest here.
