Bristol Housing Festival EXPO and Community Stories

BHF virtual Expo Sponsorship20As you may know, the Bristol Housing Festival is working with many partners in the city to bring a change to the narrative in housing, and look together to address the housing crisis we face as a city and a nation. We host annual expos to showcase the work we are involved with and other good news stories about housing, communities and innovation around the city and beyond.

This year, for our public expo in October we are delighted to be holding a Virtual Expo for 2020 from 12th October - 1st November. All events are free to attend, with registration necessary so please do have a look at the event list to hear from voices around the city and beyond, all seeking to bring change and progress, sharing what has already been achieved together and moving forwards to see more change for our city for the better.

For this year’s annual expo, we need your help to celebrate Bristol communities. We’re asking you, as a Bristol resident, to tell us what your community means to you by submitting a 2 - 4 minute video before the 1st November. Go to Community Stories on our website.

When you submit your video, you’ll be entered into our prize draw to win a 1 year family pass to We the Curious for you or a nominated family. The first 20 submissions will also get a voucher for a free coffee at Boston Tea Party.*

Looking forward to hearing your stories!

We’re delighted to share the events for our Virtual Expo 2020 and registration is now live! We hope you’ll join us for some of our industry-leading webinars and panel discussions covering the latest in housing innovation, discussions on building back better after COVID-19 and exclusive lessons learnt from current and completed projects. We are honoured to have an impressive and extensive list of industry experts as panellists and speakers in our line-up.
We will be streaming live events over three weeks from the 12 October – 1 November over Zoom, and delegates will also have access to our Virtual Exhibition Hall. We’re also pleased to be facilitating three ‘speed networking’ events, to allow you to connect with others in the industry. Spaces are limited for these events so advanced booking is recommended.
As well as live events, we will be releasing our YouTube series ‘In Conversation With…’ a past, present and future look at social housing in Bristol and the key moments in history that positioned Bristol as an innovative leader in housing provision. Finally, don’t miss our celebration of Bristol Communities – personal stories from residents on why community matters. There is still time to submit a story for this so do pass on the link to anyone you think might be interested, and do consider submitting one yourself: https://www.bristolhousingfestival.org.uk/community-stories
The full list of events is on our website here: https://www.bristolhousingfestival.org.uk/events
