We do hope that you will share this with others you think may be interested and also encourage your church leadership to advertise the event. The first lecture may be especially relevant to students studying science at schools or university and we would be grateful if you could ensure that youth and student workers in your church are made aware of the lectures.

Please note that there is a change in venue for the lectures this year since Redland Halls are no longer available. Most lectures will be held at Christ Church Clifton, BS8 3BN which is served by both the No 8 and 505 bus services. However, the November lecture will be at Woodlands Church, Woodland Rd, Bristol BS8 2AA which is within walking distance of bus services on Whiteladies Road. Parking is only available on nearby local streets.

Lecture Programme:

  1. Professor Andrew Halestrap (Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry and Senior Research Fellow, University of Bristol): Science as a Christian vocation Friday 1st October 2021 at Christ Church.

As well as our lecture series we continue to run a discussion group and more recently a small group has been set up to support and encourage Christians who are actively engaged in the scientific workplace, and especially those at the start of their scientific career.
