What we do
Gather: To build relationships and unity
We gather Christians to build relationships, exchange news and get a better overview.
We gather them at a variety of events, small and large. We have had several Sport sphere gatherings in Bristol/Bath, such as breakfasts or for a Sport Quiz. We have been involved with city-wide gatherings, such Party in the Park with about 5k people.
Grow: To learn from God and each other
We pray together regularly: for one another, for our work throughout the year and for every aspect of Sport across the Bristol/Bath region and beyond, such as at an All Night Prayer Vigil. We have been involved in city-wide gatherings, such as Going Deeper, which explored Sport issues in greater depth.
Go!: To act together and as individuals
As a result of growing relationships, the Christian community can take strategic action together, for example, through More than Gold, linking to the Olympics and through various World Cups.
We are also sent out as individuals. At the Arise Bristol! Ashton Gate stadium gathering of over 5k people, we released sports-minded Christians to help transform the Bristol/Bath region. We promote the work of organisations based locally, such as World Sport Ministries, Christians in Sport and Christian Surfers and Skaters.
