Easter Reflections from our Trustees

 

A Message of Hope Unfortunately we live in a world that seems to be in despair. Daily news reports are constantly reminding us of the cost of living crisis, energy bills rising while war rages next door in Europe.  However, we do not have to despair as the world does. The message of Easter is ultimately a message of hope. In the Easter season we are reminded of the Good News of the Gospel, but we are also reminded of the message of hope and the joy of our salvation. We can place our hope in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our goal at Christians in Media is to be that beacon of hope and light in the media workplace, and beyond.  We hope that Christians who work in, and with, media will be salt and light in this crucial area of public life. We hope that the next generation of Christians will be spiritually and practically equipped for the media industry through the work we do. We hope that media can be used to spread the message of life far and wide. And we hope that you will continue to partner with us to be that shining light in the midst of so much despair.

She has a wealth of experience in social media, and will bring her personal understanding of this crucial area of public life to the meeting. Prayer for Easter

Thank you, Lord, for giving us a day to celebrate your victory.
Thank you, Lord, for helping us to understand that our life doesn’t end here, but that we have a great hope with you.

Lord, we pray for those who cannot celebrate this Easter because they lost their beloved family member. Lord we pray that they will be encouraged by knowing that one day they will see them because of our hope in Easter.

Lord, bless all those people who cannot celebrate this Easter as we celebrate. Comfort them and remind them of them of the hope we have in you, Lord. We also thank You Lord for Your salvation, Thank you, Lord, for your victory, Thank you, Lord, for the hope you have given us, Thank you, Lord, for helping us to testify to the world that the empty tomb has given us the hope that one day we will see you face to face.

We pray in the mighty name of Jesus
