Dear friends, Summer is always an exciting time for Bridges, with events happening all over the city and people coming together in all kinds of different ways! We're making the most of the sunshine with beach trips, festivals and art exhibitions and we'd love to invite you to join in... read on to find out more or to hear about some of our recent highlights.

Stitching Together - The Exhibition! After months of hard work and haberdashery, our Stitching Together classes are showcasing their work in a summer-long exhibition at Arnolfini.
Opening on 22nd July on the top floor, there'll be cushions and capes; quilts and dresses, all carefully crafted by talented women from all over the world who now call Bristol home. Read more here.

Afghan Peace Feast - Thurs 22nd June Tickets are still on sale for the upcoming Peace Feast this Thursday, 22nd June, held in partnership with Bristol Refugee Festival. We're holding a special Afghan celebration at the Trinity Centre with guest speakers from the Afghan community, live music from Soufian Saihi and a delicious Afghan feast. Why not invite a friend? School Linking It's been another successful year for Bristol School Linking, bringing together children from 32 classes in 16 schools to celebrate diversity, foster deeper understanding of one other and build new friendships. Refulingua Summer Arabic Intensive We've loved seeing Bristolians from all walks of life learning conversational Arabic, Pashto, Dari and Somali this year, getting to grips not just with a new language but with fresh insights into a new culture. We'll be launching our Summer Arabic Intensive in July. Check out here to find out more.

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, we're able to keep building bridges, connecting with new communities and welcoming people who are seeking sanctuary in Bristol.
