Dear friends,
2024
A few things that may be worth sharing with you. First of all Executive Director Andy Flannagan had the opportunity to do a full-length interview about the state of politics in 2024 on GOD TV, and if there are friends who are concerned about the state of the world, this may be a good place to start for them. Do please feel free to share.

Secondly, here are some images from the Christians in Politics worship gathering before Christmas. As we step into this potentially divisive year, I pray that these images will remind us all that we agree over much more than we disagree about.

The book “Those who show up” continues to launch people into the mission-field of politics. It’s amazing how many emails we get from new councillors who blame the book for where they have ended up!! Here’s a recent review. Please consider buying it to put it the hands of someone who may feel the nudge towards politics.

Our ambassadors programme is proving to be very rewarding for those involved. Here are just a few quotes…   “The CiPol training has been very educative and enlightening. Although I am a regular speaker at my local church, what the CiPol training has done by giving real time feedback is that it has enabled me to improve and think more about my audience when speaking. In addition, I have learnt a great deal from the other participants - the diversity and various styles of speaking has been really eye opening.”   “What turns the door and moves the needle for me is the little corrections Andy makes in my speech delivery which when I practice completely transforms what I say.”   And here is some early fruit! - an article from ambassadors programme participant Mark Gilmore -

As with many small organisations, we are in constant need of financial support from people like yourselves to keep things afloat.  Recently, one of our major donors had to stop their support, so if there is any way you can help, please get in touch or click DONATE to give a once-off or regular donation.  Every little bit helps.  In an election year we have such great opportunity for our message, but still operate on a very limited budget, restricting how much can be done.  Thanks in advance for your consideration and kindness!
