Parent Gatherings
We really enjoyed the opportunity in January to meet as a group of parents. We had an evening at the Artists Residence and were able to sit, in our own quiet space (The Library), and share our stories. It was great to have opportunity to listen, encourage and also share wisdom from our own journeys. For now, we will be running parent gatherings once a term. Our next date is 19th March.
Come join us and invite a friend - Info and sign up.

As we continue to connect with different people across the city we are enjoying the opportunities that are opening up.

Lyfta online learning and Global Goals workshops
We have a growing number of families connecting in with Lyfta and being able to access the amazing Lyfta story worlds and learning about people in different parts of the world.
The monthly theme of the Lyfta Storyworlds links to the workshops at the Global Goals Centre where we have been excited to collaborate with their education team.
Last month we explored Field to Fashion and looked at the huge environmental cost of our fast fashion industry. This month we are exploring Migration, next month Biodiversity.

Underpinning Framework
As we have learnt more about the UN sustainable Development Goals we have discovered the
Inner Development Goals. As a team we have been inspired by the clear articulation in the IDG framework of skills needed in our world.
Fabienne has joined the Flourish Project team who have been exploring how the IDGs can be used in education; we are going to learn and develop this with them, exploring how we interweave the IDGs into the daily Hub adventures enabling us to map the learners’ journey.

Pathfinder
We introduced Pathfinder to our learners in the Hub and in the last newsletter. They have all had an experience of using it. At present, as it is in development phase, we have free access. All our learners are invited to set up an account. With their own account the AI will learn their interests which will enable future searches, plus allow them to go back and explore their search history. To create an account, click on purple button top right on this web link.
