PFS is supported by seven ministries that want to develop a UK-wide network of groups to support schools by praying. In England that’s CARE, Association of Christian Teachers (ACT), Youth for Christ, Scripture Union, Prayer Spaces in Schools, Open the Book and Urban Saints . We meet each term to plan and pray and work with other national and local organisations.

This September, we are encouraging people to gather together and hold town- or area-wide events lifting up their local schools in prayer.


There are loads of resources to help you to hold an event like Back to School with God encouraging us to Spot the Difference! or plan something for Education Sunday (September 8^th) with resources looking at Education in our community (see pages 3 and 4)

The National Day of Prayer for Schools on the 27th September gives us another opportunity, with resources, to pray for our children and young people. There will be Zooms on the day and events around the country.
