Instead of hosting a national summit next year, Gather Movement is wanting to serve what is happening regionally by travelling around the country to support you in your town, city or borough to develop greater unity-based transformation. We are looking to support you in hosting a local Summit where leaders in your context are inspired, encouraged and resourced for what God is doing. The input we are offering will be shaped specially to the desired outcomes you have for your place. We are offering three levels of support: |
|
Level 1 - Inspiration
Members of the core team join your regular leaders gathering for a two-hour session that involves being inspired about what God is doing around the world and leading a conversation about the Gather Movement Hexagon model as to how you can develop your next steps. |
|
Level 2 - Mini Summit
This is for a wider leaders gathering, for a half-day event for church, charities and sphere leaders. As well as making space for encouragement and inspiration with stories from around the UK and the globe, we would work with you to develop a bespoke workshop to focus on one area of specific interest for your place. |
|
Level 3 - Town/City Summit
This is a full day and larger event for all the Church to celebrate what’s happening and plan ahead together for the future. We will add value to your event with speakers, national partners and targeted workshops to support your own city or town Summit. This is where the work of the church and charities is celebrated, people are inspired and trained to develop in social, spiritual and cultural transformation. |
|
Our Offering
These are your events, not central Gather Movement events. We simply come and serve you and tailor the content we are developing nationally to serve your context. |
|
Cost
We would appreciate our expenses being covered and perhaps a gift to the Gather but please do not let finance be the deciding factor. Our heart is to serve. |

For city and town unity movements and urban practitioners
26TH NOVEMBER 2024
OXFORD COMMUNITY CHURCH, THE KINGS CENTRE, OSNEY MEAD, OX20ES
Our popular Theology Day is back and will be held again in Oxford. With a wide range of contributors from the UK and around the world, we will be exploring city transformation through the theological lens. There is so much wonderful ministry being undertaken in cities and towns across the UK and this is a unique opportunity to reflect on what we are doing and the theological rationale for why we are doing it. It is vital that we make space to pause, so that our theology underpins the mission we undertake together in our places. Save the date and book in to have your mind challenged and your perspective widened.

Mark Cowling explains why the new Social Action Mapping service from Gather Movement, is proving to be so useful.
This mapping approach has come out of conversations with civic and health authorities and church unity groups. We provide this service at cost, as a vehicle to maximise potential relationships between civic, health and unity groups.
“It has been invaluable to work with Gather Movement to map where and what church-based social action services are being delivered across Oldham local authority.”
Paula Healey (Head of Early Years Oldham Council)
