Noise 365 Update (Including New Training)

July 2024

Bristol Noise charity's vision is to inspire you, and other Christians across our city, with how we can all be showing God's love in practical ways throughout the year. Noise 365 is a resource to channel the stories, ideas and learning we find across our city and further afield as we seek to do just that. Please check out our website here for more details.

We have had the privilege of supporting a practical project in Shirehampton with the wonderful team from Highgrove Church, and have lent our BBQ to support New Life Church contribute to the Frenchay Flower Show. We continue to keep ourselves busy by lining up other projects and events to support, which include supporting practical projects in Fishponds with Life Church and with Christ Church in Downend.

Highlights from the last month

We had a great time hosting a Noise 365 Project Co-ordinator Training evening on Thursday 11th July. This was for anyone in local churches or organisations who is interested in learning how to assess and run practical projects in their local communities.

We had 10 organisations represented from all four corners of Bristol, and now have some exciting projects lined up that we are able to support.

If you missed this one, we will be holding another in September. We will release more information and ways to sign up in due course.

Marquees for sale

We only have one or two of our large marquees left to sell to organisations or churches in Bristol area (or wider afield). They are 4 x 8m and have all poles, sides, roof, ratchet straps, etc. We are looking to sell for £400 per marquee. Here are details from manufacturers website.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are loads of different churches, charities and organisations across the city who are often on the look out for extra help in all different forms. Whether you're available on a regular basis, or every now and again, there are opportunities to get stuck in! Following the final Noise event, we need your help personally or as a church to be able grow into our new Noise 365 vision. As you will probably appreciate, there is not much 'people resource' behind Bristol Noise charity but some very committed volunteers who give a lot of time.
