Teen Challenge Croatia
Teen Challenge Croatia is led by our partner Ico Matulic. Teen Challenge has a coffee house in Solin and holds regular meetings for people with addictions or those needing support and their families feel welcome. They also offer further help if needed.

Ico recently shared this encouraging story of the importance of their volunteers and the hope they can bring.

As part of our work on the resocialisation of former addicts, God opened a new door. Often, former addicts, when they finish the rehabilitation programme and return home have problems with the court and court judgements can await them. Teo (right) completed the programme but needed to serve two months in prison.

We took care of him and at his trial, we managed to get his prison sentence cancelled if he went through our resocialisation programme. Our volunteer Hrvoje (pictured with Teo) regularly opens his home for former addicts who have gone through the rehabilitation programme. They love with Hrvoje for six months, until they get a job. He takes care of them.
Give thanks for Hrvoje and all the volunteers. Please pray for Teo as he works through the resocialisation programme and makes a fresh start.

New Life in Veles
We're delighted to hear about more baptisms! Praise God for those who step out in faith and declare that Jesus Christ is their saviour.
Here is an update from the Evangelical Church of Macedonia.

God is adding new people to his family. During the summer, our local churches organise baptisms for the new believers. We've had baptisms in Kumanovo and now several people were baptised from the churches in Veles and Gevgelija in a river near Gevgelija.

One woman who came to church was a close relative of a believer from the church. Our church in Veles helped her with the rent at a time when she was struggling financially. Witnessing how the church helps people and shares God's unconditional love practically was the turning point for her to come to church and now be baptised. After many prayers for her she said "Yes!" to Jesus.

Please pray for the faith of these young Christians. But please also pray for many people in our churches who have been coming to services for years, but have never decided to surrender their lives to Christ and be baptised.
