Preparing for more activity
We all know some people in our lives who are passionate gardeners. These people will tell you that depending on the kind of thing you want to see in your garden, there is a optimum time to plant that particular seed, which may be different from one plant to the next. We at Bristol Noise have been in such a season, where we knew the 365 project would only be possible, with the right intentions at the right moments.
In the background, the things we have been planning and exploring, are starting to show in practical terms. Some of our highlights that we are excited to share are;
-
We have managed to fundraise enough, so that we can now employ an admin assistant. Scroll down to find out a little more about the growth in our team.
-
We have set up a working partnership with North Bristol & South Glos Foodbank. This is to give our one off projects and events an avenue to signpost people into, so that those in need can go on longer term journeys of help and relationship. More on that below.
-
We continue to talk to other organisations about collaborating and complementing what is going on across the city.
-
We have established a new website and a new tools shed in South Bristol. This means that resourcing groups to do events and projects is more accessible than ever.
-
We have groups around the city, like in Knowle West and others, who continue to show God’s love in practical ways throughout the year.
It is an exciting time to join in with the journey, so if you are interested in taking part in anything that we are doing, or something that we can do together, then please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are pleased to share that we are working with North Bristol & South Glos Foodbank to develop their food bank outlets and other locations into community hubs and connection spaces. This partnership will enable us to offer a wider range of services, providing more comprehensive support to people in North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses.
We at Bristol Noise will continue working on bringing churches and volunteers together, resourcing churches in reaching out into communities, but now also introducing a community space to signpost people into. This will help people not only make local connections, but also get what they need in the short and long term, and build lasting relationships.

As Spring and Summer seasons approach, we are looking to host some FREE Noise 365 Training sessions. Our first one is Noise 365 Community Project Coordinator training on Monday 7th April at 7.30pm at Ebenezer Church, Horfield.
This is for anyone in local churches or organisations who is interested in learning how to assess and run practical projects in their local communities.

In March, Noise 365 will be supporting a community event in Hambrook, and a Bristol Community Festival Event in Knowle West.
As the weather starts to get brighter and warmer, we will have a few more projects and events lined up in the coming months. If we can support you in how you reach your community, please do get in touch with us HERE.

Introducing Rachel Coles
Rachel has a background as a chartered Town Planner. She also previously served as an Intern at the Noise in 2015.
Her interests lie in how the church can serve the wider community to the best of its abilities; showing God's love through tangible and practical projects on the ground. Many years ago, Rachel completed her Masters Degree dissertation on the role of the church in community regeneration.
She is looking forward to working as the Operations and Communications Assistant to support the team and to further the vision of Noise 365. |

We need your help personally or as a church to be able grow our new Noise 365 vision. As you will probably appreciate, there is not much 'people resource' behind Bristol Noise charity but some very committed volunteers who give a lot of time.
If you are able to help financially, then please check out our website -
