Hi,
I’m writing to introduce Bristol Chaplaincy, a local charity that has a vision to saturate the Bristol City Centre and wider communities with Chaplains, who go out of the church walls and into the ordinary places to show God’s love, through the care and support they provide.
Bristol Chaplaincy formally launched at the beginning of 2022 and since then has grown to a team of 12 volunteers who support people who are facing challenges in their lives in the following places –

University of Law

The Bristol Harbourside Community

The Arts
We also provide training and mentoring for chaplains and facilitate bi-monthly networking evenings for Chaplains who work across the wider Bristol area.
Our charity is growing and we are currently planning the launch of 3 new chaplaincies with more on the horizon.
We are writing to you today, offering two things to you and your church…
Firstly, we would love to be connected, to catch up for a coffee and explore if there is anything we can do to support each other. Our hearts are to be a support and partner with churches across Bristol and we have lots of ideas on how chaplaincy can become an integral part of the gathered church and how it can support your communities and ultimately expand the Kingdom.
Secondly, we would like to invite you to join us for a charity fundraising evening on Thursday 9th October at the Ritorno Lounge on the Bristol Harbourside.
We have organised an evening of Live Jazz Music, have a raffle with some amazing prizes and will be doing a short presentation on Bristol Chaplaincy during the evening.
