Bridge Project Support Worker: North Bristol and South Gloucestershire Foodbank

 
Context: The Bridge Food Project is a food club with a difference. The project operates on a low-cost membership basis where members are given access to reduced price food alongside one-to-one tailored support, with an end-goal of food security and independence. 
 
Job Purpose: to provide support work to members of the Bridge Food Project and to coordinate and develop the project. 
 
Reports to: Foodbank Manager 
 
Team: The Bridge Food Project team (Food Logistics Manager, Food Logistics Coordinator, and Foodbank Manager), which sits within the wider food bank team. 
 
Fixed Term: 12 month contract, with the possibility of being extended or becoming permanent. 
 
Salary: £26,523 (pro-rata) 
 
Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week depending on experience (to be worked between Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm but with one evening weekly until 8pm; working pattern to be confirmed), with occasional weekend work or evening meetings. 
 
Start date: As soon as possible 
 
Location: North Bristol & South Glos Foodbank Office, 286 Filton Avenue, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0BA and other project locations
