Join us for an evening exploring education beyond the school-centred model, including home education, community-led learning, and pathways for children with additional needs.

Our panel brings together research, lived experience, and practical insight:

•⁠ ⁠Chris Bagley, an education researcher offering a broader perspective on learning and schooling.
•⁠ ⁠Olivia Huaman, sharing her experience navigating the SEN system and EOTAS both professionally and with her son.
•⁠ ⁠Jo Sweetland, co-founder of Streams Learning Hub, exploring community-based education.

Chaired by Caroline Clark, co-founder of Streams Learning Hub, SEN parent and Trustee of Bristol Autism Support & Science Creates Outreach.

There will be a Q&A session, with opportunities to ask questions on the evening or submit them in advance when booking.

This event is for parents, carers, and anyone interested in alternative approaches to education, SEN pathways, or home education. Come learn, ask questions, and connect with others exploring new possibilities for their children.

Soft drinks and nibbles are included in the ticket price, alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the Watershed Bar. Meet at 7pm in the bar and we'll head to the event space for 7:15pm
